The gallery below showcases specific technological tools, features, and programs that I have created throughout the Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. The following examples demonstrate my ability to pay attention to close details, desire to utilize multiple technologies within my classroom, yearning to be creative, passion to present information in a variety of ways, and craving to maintain current with the most recent technological tools and features. Click on the images to view each specific artifact.

This 6th grade mathematics course was created in CEP 820 and designed using CourseSites. The decimals unit within the course addresses adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals using a variety of images, interactive websites, videos, and assignments.

Personal Learning Plan

Using Weebly, I was able to create a website that showcases my Professional Learning Plan as a student within the Educational Technology Program at Michigan State University. Readers may view and experience how technology has impacted my life thus far.

Stand-Alone Instructional Resource

Color Guard Coaching Website

This Stand-Alone Instructional Resource (StAIR) project is designed to guide students through a review of the themes of geography. Students review information, address misconceptions, and assess their understanding of the themes of geography using Power Point in kiosk mode.

This blog was created using Blogger and shares several assignments, thoughts, opinions, and passions that I expressed throughout several of my Master's courses.

Student Technology Survey

Interactive White Boards Presentation

This Technology Survey was created using Google Forms and was used to assess any prior knowledge and experiences that students may have with technology before they enter my classroom.

This group presentation was created using Google Presenter. Our group researched ways that Interactive White Boards (IWB) can be used to enhance and impact subject matter, context, student learning, and teaching.

Social Constructivism Digital Story

CEP Courses Blog

This website was created using Weebly and was designed to communicate important information, images, documents, and events to parents and students of my color guard members.

This digital story project demonstrates how a change in teaching strategies can alter the learning that takes place in the classroom. Using Vgottsky's zone of proximal development and a lesson on probability, I have demonstrated how scaffolding material and teaching strategies can guide students towards independent work.

Wicked Problem Project

Educational Technology RSS Feed

This YouTube video explains how online quizzes can be effectively implemented into a classroom and demonstrates how online testing can be helpful for teachers.

I used NetVibes to create the RSS feed image shown above. This RSS feed brings several blogs, images, facts, and even mail straight to this one website. Usually people have to check several websites to receive the information they are looking for, where RSS feeds bring the information to you.

Developer Notebook Using Google Docs

Using Google Docs, I was able to reflect on a number of assignments, discussion topics, reactions to articles, challenges, and achievements while creating my online course.

Carlie Ferschneider's Technology Showcase

I used Prezi to create this presentation. Within this presentation I highlight the information found on the factors that influence student achievement within John Hattie's article "The Argument".
